Continuing from last time...
I went to a Tanabata festival in nearby ocean town, Hiratsuka. This town hosts the largest tanabata festival in Japan. I should have realized that is NOT a good thing. Greeted by police on loudspeakers and lines to get out of the station was not fun. Being greeted by tens (hundreds?) of thousands of people in the streets was not fun either. Hardly being able to walk more than 5 feet in a minute was not pleasurable either. I went with my girlfriend and ended up just meeting some friends at an izakaya away from all the hustle and bustle.
One of two pictures taken outside that day-

A "salad" at the izakaya (half a head of lettuce with some dressing) -

Moving on, here is a picture of Enoshima Island covered in ocean mist-

Here is one of my all time favorite pictures I have taken. This guy was just too cool for words on his scooter blaring out hard bumping electronic music-

Here is a rice vending machine I always wanted to take a picture of. I wonder how fresh it is....

And, here is largest collection of vending machines I have seen selling nothing but cookies-
They continue past the frame of the window....

Still trying to get up to date. Ugh.
My friends Taka, Tomo, Heidi, and Mr. Tetsu-

With garbage disposal a large complication here, I was not surprised to see this trashed TV in the bushes. I believe it is still there. 5 months after this photo was taken.

I now live next to the Enoden train line. It is a small, old line that I am sure has some historical importance. It runs a short route from Fujisawa to Kamakura while passing Enoshima Island and going along the coast. It's really a great little line because it goes down tiny little corridors and even on the street at one point. It's really NOT great hearing it all day.
Here is a picture of it from near my apartment-

This looks like an unpleasant job to have-

I finally got a picture of the person who lives behind me! Full protection!

I got a kick out of this "missile" drift car. He obviously doesn't care about it and just bombs around practicing.

Caution(s)!

Nobu looking sexy, Richard sporting the popular $8 portable speaker necklace, and Adam being Adam-

Fun people are found everywhere on the streets-

A fake farewell party. Only gone for 3 months. Pfft.

Jack looking good-

Looking even better here-

Ofuna Kannon as seen from Ofuna train station-
