Sneaky Power Rangers, prohibited octopus balls, and the day I got my car

While I was walking to the train station near my place, I couldn't help but notice these three sneaky "rangers" getting ready to surprise someone.  Funny but not really surprising.  That is Japan-

Yukino getting some udon in a shopping arcade in Kyoubashi-

I love this!  No octopus balls allowed inside! HAHHAHAH

Mini vans are pretty popular here and while some go over the top with gaudy modifications, some subtly enhanced like this one-

The previous car was spotted on the way to picking up this-

The same day we went north to Minoh to have some fun in a car that wasn't a rental.  It was cherry blossom season but I can't remember if they were on their way out or in when we went for this drive. I imagine all the brown is covered in white at some point-

This gigantic tree has some importance that I don't know about-

It allowed for a good photo of our new car though-

I wish I could visit Japan. It appeals so greatly to me. The sights, the sounds, the food, the people....I love it all :o) Maybe one day, God willing, I will be able to see it in person, and not just in pictures :o)

I hope so. I know I lived vicariously through other peoples Japan blogs before I actually came here.

Take some vacation days (a lot of them) and come visit!
