A walk around - Tamatsukuri Shopping street

Last weekend gave us some nice weather and rather than go out for a drive we decided to go for a nice walk down to Namba.  See, what have to plan our walks around where is good for Aki.  By that I mean where is good to change and feed him.  That limits our walks to North and West from our apartment.  This day we were attempting to walk farther than we had ever done before with Aki. I think the total time spent walking this day was around five hours.  Pretty damn good baby in tow or not.

We started by walking south through the shopping street near the train station which provides fun things to look at and items I would only by as a joke.

I wish I had taken a better main pic but I really don't think I make a good photographer anymore.  It is quite evident after looking at these since I literally "shot from the hip" and made a lot of pictures unusable with my walking movement.

There are plenty of clothing shops that make Yukino and/or I stop to have a crack at some outrageously designed garment-

A takoyaki (octopus ball) vendor.  There are so many of these places in Osaka its ridiculous and always makes me wonder how so many can survive.  But, sure enough I usually buy some when out on our walks-

An old "Men's" shop-

A tiny little woman-

What you may see in this picture is what looks like a gift shop on the left, a reading area in the middle and a cafe on the right.  You can't see the Pachinko place in the rear that makes all these areas not so real-

An herbal place had snakes, turtles and other strange dead animals for your ailments-

This newly built house has its entrance facing into the shotengai.  What a hoooorrribbbllee idea.

A super fancy shmancy place that I like because of its fake leopard out front-

The newly moved bagel shop that I love-

More soon from the rest of our long walk...
